Sagi Brink-Danan, MSc, MBA – Chief Executive Officer, Board Director

Sagi brings over 17 years of entrepreneurial and executive medical-device experience, mostly in the US, building and growing companies in pain monitoring, orthopedics, robotic spine surgery, advanced wound healing and urology.

At Mazor Robotics (NASDAQ: MZOR; recently sold to Medtronic for $1.6B) he was hired as the second employee in the US, rose quickly through the ranks to senior management positions, and helped develop and lead the company’s nation-wide presence and operations.
Sagi was also the founding CEO of Perfuzia Medical, where he took the company from inception through seed and A-round financing, product development, IP development, clinical studies and strategic partnerships.
In his position as VP at SRS Medical Sagi led the international commercialization of an advanced urological technology, developed at an investment of over $100M.

Prior to his medical-device career Sagi served in an elite Navy unit of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), where he attained the rank of Captain.
He holds an MBA Cum-Laude from Babson College (Boston, MA, USA) in entrepreneurship and international business, and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Tel Aviv University (Israel) with a full merit scholarship; his Master’s thesis was spun out as a startup company funded by Israel’s Office of the Chief Scientist. Sagi also holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from TAU (dean’s list, merit scholarship), and is a graduate of Israel’s Naval Officer Academy in Haifa.
He has several scientific and medical publications, and holds numerous patents worldwide.

Prof. Arie Zigler, PhD – Co-founder, Chief Scientist

Prof. Zigler is the Chair of physics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. He has over 35 years of experience in experimental physics in area of electro-optics, spectroscopy, high power lasers, laser accelerators and plasma physics.
Prof. Zigler has published over 150 scientific publications and delivered numerous invited talks at scientific conferences. He is a fellow of American Physics Society.
Prof. Zigler also holds over 10 granted patents, serves as a scientific consultant to numerous technology companies in both Israel and the US, and was a co-founder of X-Technologies Inc. – an interventional cardiology company which was acquired by Guidant Corp. (now Boston Scientific)  in 2003.

Limor Zur-Stoller, CPA, MBA – Chief Financial Officer

Limor is a seasoned professional financial leader, bringing over 20 years of experience in key managerial positions in global, public High-tech and Biotech companies as well as in early-stage start-up companies. Most recently she served as Chief Financial Officer and VP of Business Development with Smart Agro – an R&D limited partnership which Limor took through an IPO on TASE in October 2020 – and Chief Executive Officer of BioCloud Ltd.

Prior to that Limor spent several years in agro-tech startup Rootility Ltd – first as CFO and COO, and eventually as CEO – where she was responsible for revising company’s strategy, business planning, fund-raising funds, M&A process and initiation of commercialization including management of sales & marketing, production team and operations; of both the parent-company in Israel and its US subsidiary. Limor also served as the CFO of Nutrinia Ltd, a neonatology global start-up company developing pharmaceuticals to treat rare conditions of the gastrointestinal tract.

Notably, Limor was the founding CFO of Rosetta Green Ltd. which she led to an IPO on TASE and eventually a sale to Monsanto Inc., leading to her appointment as Monsanto’s Israel Finance Lead. Previously she served as the CFO / VP Finance of Rosetta Genomics (NASDAQ: ROSGQ), GammaCan (NASDAQ OTC: GCAN) and RadView (NASDAQ: RDVWF), and Controller of CheckPoint (NASDAQ: CHKP).

Limor is a Board-Certified CPA (Israel), holds a BA in Accounting and Economics from Tel-Aviv University, and an MBA (Honors) from the Israeli College of Management.

Roee Nagler, B.Sc , Commander (Ret.) – V.P Projects

Roee brings over 25 years of experience in leadership and management at the highest levels.

He spent most of his career in the Israeli Navy, first serving as the Commanding Officer of several advanced warships and submarines, then moving on to lead numerous navy-wide multidisciplinary technological and infrastructure projects. Among other things, Roee served as Head of the operational characterization team for the future submarines, Director of the submarine fleet projects branch, and others – and was endowed with the Israel Security Award.

Upon retiring at the rank of Commander Roee served as the Vice-President of Operations at Totem-Plus – a company developing and manufacturing infrastructure and systems for the maritime industry – and held leadership positions in several Defense development projects with I.A.I (Israel Aerospace Industries), Elbit and Rafael.

Roee is member of the Maritime Policy & Strategy center at the University of Haifa and graduate of the US Naval Command College in Newport, RI, as well as of the Israeli Naval Officers’ Academy in Haifa. He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering Suma Cum Laude.

Moshe Cohen-ErnerEE, PhD – Head of Research and Development

Moshe brings over 20 years of R&D experience in innovative product development, from basic ideation to field implementation, mainly for the medical-device industry, with global corporates as well as startups of all stages.

Most recently he served as CTO at early-stage company New-Phase (magnetic hyperthermia nanotechnology for cancer treatment). Prior to that he served a VP R&D and engineering at a GE Healthcare subsidiary where he led the development of next-gen, CZT-based, nuclear medicine imagers.

For over a decade prior to GE Moshe led the technology and clinical development at Orex, a medical-device startup which was later acquired by Carestream Healthcare. At Orex he headed the R&D physics, imaging and clinical applications teams developing high-performance digital radiography scanners and imaging systems. He played a key role in moving the company from $10MM annual sales to $100MM within 5 years. Moshe also served as a VP R&D at Smart Medical Systems, a pioneer startup in the development of gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy systems, as an R&D manager at Camtek AOI systems and in senior scientist role at ELOP (Elbit).

Moshe was a post-doctoral research fellow and a Katzir scholar at the Israeli Nuclear Research Center; he holds a PhD in Physics and Electronics from Tel-Aviv University, where he worked on Free-Electron Lasers, and BSc & MSc degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Moshe has more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 10 patents to his name.
